You don’t have to wander far off the main streets of Ubud for long before you see the ‘real’ Ubud… Local Balinese compounds, working rice paddies, and kids running around.

And check of the last photo – some local kids were flying kites while the adults were farming (it was a Monday afternoon). The kids kept screaming ‘pic-ture, pic-ture!!!!!’ and one cheeky kid posed for the camera.
