Dusit D2 hotel – Chiang Mai
Dusit D2 is located right near the Chiang Mai night market (which to be honest, was a bit of a draw card for me), and is a modern, unique hotel.  The hotel had a young vibe about it, and strived to provide excellent service to its guests.

Elephant Nature Park – Chiang Mai
So after a bit of research on several elephant parks in Northern Thailand, I decided that we should visit the Elephant Nature Park.  This park is a sanctuary for distressed elephants – they’ve provided a home to abused elephants, homeless elephants, and orphans elephant calves.

Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School – Chiang Mai
We had a few things planned while we were in Chiang Mai, and one of them was a cooking class at the Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School.  Mr Ana and I have always been interested in food and cooking (and of course, eating!!), so a cooking class was on our to do list.

The Gallery Restaurant – Chiang Mai
We really wanted to try regional food from Chiang Mai (as opposed to stereotypical Thai food) and was advised to order the Chiang Mai Hor D’oeuvres dish.  We took a tuk tuk to the restaurant, and was seated by the river.  It was quite hot, so we cooled down with some cocktails (me) and beer (Mr Ana).
